Fort Unchagaon is a heritage hotel located in the village of Unchagaon, about 130 km from Delhi and near Garhmukteshwar on Moradabad–New Delhi National Highway. A drive from Delhi to Unchagaon takes only about an hour which makes it a perfect place for short weekend trips. This fort was inherited by Raja Surendra Pal Singh in the early 19th century who decided to renovate it and preserve this ancestral palace in the form of a modern hotel. Get mesmerized by the perfect blend of Indian and colonial architecture on the walls of the fort or spend a quiet time taking a stroll on the lush green lawn surrounding the hotel. Being located close to river Ganges, Fort Unchagaon is also known for river dolphin sightings.
