Puthan Panam movie round-up : once again Mammootty at his best performance

Director Ranjith interlaced his craftsmanship every time with megastar Mammootty’s excellent performance. The film directed by Ranjith and Mammootty, Renji Panicker Mammukoya, Siddique are in lead role. the story is about to demonetization and black money in Kerala.

Ranjith’s craft is sound but his creativity has flattered in ‘Puthanpanam’. ‘Leela’, his previous outing had drawn a lot of criticisms. He has not been able to lift himself with his Mammootty movie.

Ranjith once again proves his mastery of portraying all the characters by giving them distinct individuality. After a long time Baiju gets a pivotal role which he has done perfectly well. Besides, Indrans as Kuruvi is impressive.

If you go expecting to watch a wholesome film on the black money issue, you might not get your money’s worth from this flick. But if all that you care about is to stay entertained through the length of the film, it is worth your ‘Puthan Panam’.
