Yaakkai movie round-up : A investigation of mysterious death of chairman

The story is about to mysterious death and medical scam which has common connection between each other. Yaakkai directed by Kuzhandhai Velappan and Guru Somasundaram, Swathi Reddy, Prakash Raj, Kreshna are in the lead roles.

Parallel narration does somewhat keep us hooked for a while, but we are soon able to guess who is committing the murders and our interest wanes. It doesn’t help that we start predicting the scenes that follow after that.

The badly written role makes Guru struggle like a novice and he suffers further trying to pass on as a US return leaving the audience in splits with his dialogue delivery. Radha Ravi is wasted while M.S.Bhaskar proves his mettle in a serious role.
