Pebble
Tucked away on Bellary Road, near Palace Grounds, and spread over two acres, Pebble is a relaxing hideaway. This nightclub is also known for its delightful Persian and Indian cuisines. The beach-themed lounge is a nice place to chill out.

Opus
Looking for a night-out under the stars with some live music and scrumptious Goan food? Opus is where you head to. While the ambience is certainly inviting, with low seating and pebbled grounds, the service and the wallet factor are not particularly so. There is an entry fee that is a bit disheartening as the food is overpriced. Opus has different themes on different days. Most popular are the karaoke nights and retro nights.

Purple Haze
Probably named after Jimi Hendrix’s popular song of the same name, this pub is dedicated to rock music afficionados. Dark, hazy and smoke-filled interiors, loud classic rock and patrons who never seem to leave are features that characterise this pub.
Contact details: 17/1, Residency Road.
Pecos
Pecos is an institution in the city’s rock circuit. Die-hard loyalists swear by its food and the beer that’s brewed in-house. Inside, you are flanked by huge blow-ups of legendary musicians and concert posters. If you can’t make it on a working day head over on Sunday for the breakfast special and some classic rock n’ roll music.
Contact details: Pecos, 34, Rest House Road, Off Brigade Road.
Hard Rock Cafe
Wine and dine with the legends of rock at the world famous Hard Rock Cafe that serves juicy burgers, a heady Bloody Mary and great music. The old stone walls beautifully complement the interesting rock memorabilia from Mick Jagger’s jacket to David Gilmour’s guitar, keeping alive a magical sense of history. The BLT, Chicken in Hickory Barbeque Sauce, Mezze Platter and the giant Burger with Blue Cheese are definite must-haves at Hard Rock Cafe. Portions are generous and the service is friendly.

13th Floor
A great place to go chill out and have a few drinks in the evening after work, or to meet friends on a Saturday night. The most obvious USP of 13th floor is its open terrace where one gets a bird’s eye view of Bangalore. It’s advisable to make reservations if you want to be seated outside. The short eats are an eclectic mix, and tasty for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. You can be perfectly happy with a pint of beer or some interesting cocktails, or neat tequila shots. The service is quick and attentive.
