Dangal Trailer – Aamir’s wrestling drama will break all gender stereotypes

Most awaited trailer of the year has finally released. Amir Khan is set to return to the big screen after two years with Dangal. Amir Khan will be essaying the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. The movie is based on his real life and her daughter Geeta Phogat, who won India’s first ever gold medal in women’s wrestling in the 55 kg freestyle category at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

 

Amir Khan will be seen in two avatars in the movie. One where he is in the ring and wins silver for the country. In the later part, he becomes the trainer for her daughters and want them to win gold for India.

There were speculations that Dangal will compete with Salman’s Sultan as the main theme of both the films were wrestling. After the trailer, it’s clear that Dangal is all about breaking gender stereotypes and women empowerment at core.

Amir has worked really hard on his accent and physique. He is in complete Haryanvi touch. Overall, the trailer is full on entertainer and seeti-maar with a message that “Girls can do anything”.
